Water Falls
Kilab-kilab Falls
The Kilab-Kilab Falls are somewhere in the inland of Bohol; getting there is quite a trip, especially climbing down to the fall can be difficult. On rainy days to way down is probably to slippery. However, once you've found the place, it is a small marvel. There is a large caves near the fall, and, since the water under the falls is fairly deep, you can jump from the top of that cave for a great splash. Another small cave is behind the waterfall itself. If you swim there, and dive under the waterfall, you can enter it.
Pahangog Twin Falls
The Pahangog Twin Falls in barangay Guingoyuran, are about 14 kilometers from the highway, in the municipality of Dimiao, 38 kilometers from Tagbilaran. The beautiful cascading twin falls are a trekking destination and a fantastic picnic site. You can reach up to the barangay hall of Guingoyuran by car, after which you will have to continue on foot to the fall. While going there, you can see some nice rice-terraces. A stairway down to the falls is under construction. Near the twin falls are also twin caves.
Kawasan Falls
The
Kawasan Falls can be found in barangay Candasig, Balilihan, about 22 kilometers
from Tagbilaran. A few kilometres before the poblacion, a sign will point out
the road to take to get to the falls. Alternatively, the falls can be reached
by boat over the Abatan river. If the water is not too low, it is at the end of
the navigable water of that river. The small pond below the waterfall can be
used for bathing.
The
Mag-Aso Falls are at walking distance from Antequera, and are fine destination
after a visit to the handicrafts market on Sunday morning. On the market
square, a large sign directs you to the right road, which you follow until you
find a bit dilipated ticket stall, where you will have to pay two pesos, and can
enter the concrete stairs down to the falls.

Kinahugan Falls is located in the border line between
Lonoy and Cabungaan. Expect a nice water falls and some beautiful trees around.
The Kinahugan Falls is located in Sitio Karap-angan,
Cabungaan, Jagna, Bohol. Situated 5 kilometers from the Poblacion of Jagna thru
a winding trail, it is only a kilometer away from the Cabungaan Elementary
School. At a relaxed pace, the falls can be reached in one and a half hours.
Jagna is a bustling port town
situated 63.1 kilometers from Tagbilaran City, the capital and lone city of the
province of Bohol. It lies at the southern coast of Bohol and is a 5th class
municipality with a land area covering 12,063 hectares and a population of 32,034
according to the 2007 census.
Jagna is known throughout the Philippines as
the place where the very tasty “calamay” is made. This delicacy is made from
ground “malagkit” rice, coconut milk and sugar. Peanuts are added in for
flavor. The
Kinahugan Falls is breathtakingly beautiful and very scenic with
verdant foliage at the top and some clinging for dear life at the sides of the
cliff giving the white falling water a green backdrop. The sides of the cliffs
are covered with moss adding to the green background. We are not
talking of one fall here. In fact, there are three falls. The center fall is
flanked by another on the northern part and the other is on the southern part.
Two faces of the cliff have only minimal water falling over it. Much of the
water is concentrated on the third falls and the water here is gushing and
swift and produces a roar when it hits rock bottom.
Bathing in the cool waters and looking
towards the three falls, you will feel hemmed in by the cascading waters, the
moss-covered cliffs and the green jungle that surrounds you. With the clear
blue sky above and its reflection on the waters, you will surely feel you are
in paradise!
